Meet the MESPAC Team
Experts in Offshore, Data, and Innovation
Collectively, our team has deep expertise in technology development, offshore renewable energy and satellite earth observation (SatEO), civil engineering, and data science.
Providing access to satellite metocean intelligence for offshore wind and maritime industries.
Founded in 2022, MESPAC builds on more than 50 years of combined experience of its founders in the offshore sector. The company itself grew out of a European Space Agency (ESA) Feasibility Study into how Satellite Earth Observation (SatEO) data could be applied to the ocean sector.
The study set out to address the well-known challenges of offshore data acquisition: that it is often slow, expensive, and incomplete. To find a better path, we developed a method that integrates in-situ measurements with SatEO data, using proprietary AI algorithms to fill the gaps. This approach has proven effective at reducing time and costs, while also improving data reliability, spatial coverage, and scalability for the wider ocean industry.
MESPAC provides access to what offshore projects need: continuous, high-resolution, and accurate metocean data for wind, waves, and more.
Our solutions are built for offshore wind developers, maritime operators, and their supply chains. The goal is to help you save time, cut costs, by accessing data you can actually trust. Through our cloud platform, we provide site-specific data and advanced analytics for your exact coordinates, giving you clear insights for smarter decisions.
From initial planning and tendering all the way to daily operations, MESPAC offers a scalable tool that’s tailored to fit every stage of your project.
Metocean data is often a gappy, scattered mess. We build our platform to fix that.
We start by combining global Satellite Earth Observation (SatEO) data with precise in-sitemeasurements. Then, our proprietary AI algorithms get to work. They use advanced data fusion and reconstruction techniques to find and fill the missing pieces—both in space and in time.
This means we can accurately build complete time series for key variables like wind and waves, even in remote offshore locations where good data is normally scarce. The result is a scalable, cloud-based solution that delivers consistent, reliable data you can actually use.
